9th Grade Freshman
August: Date TBA
Register for PSAT's before October at your local high school through the guidance couselor's office. Fee is $12.00 per student. PSAT's are exams for national scholarships. Your student may qualify by 11th grade for some national scholarship to help pay for college tuition. By starting in the 9th grade taking these exams, gives your student practice in taking any exam in a non-threating way; however, they will not start qualifying for scholarships until the 11th and 12th grade. Parents of students entering the 9th grade should highly consider having them take this one day exam. Email either Mrs Scott or Mrs. Daniels to let us know you are taking it and receive your school code number to take this exam. PSAT's test scores may also qualify as an end of the year test for your diploma requirements. If you have questions regarding the end of the year test, please e-mail Mrs. Daniels.
